The Feed-In-Tarrif - Tax Free income from Solar Panels
The Government Funded Scheme guaranteed for the next 25 years
You could be a Solar Power investor, taking advantage of the government's 'feed-in-tariff' which is guaranteed to provide you cheaper electricity bills for a 25 year period.
You produce electricity from solar panels and receive a payment for every unit you produce. These payments are guaranteed at the time you join the scheme. The government may vary the rates or withdraw the payments in the future but you are guaranteed your payments once you join the scheme. Join now before the rates designed to attract new users are varied or withdrawn.
How the Feed-In-Tariff Works
Under present rules (guaranteed for those who have signed up) you will receive 21 pence for every unit of electricity that you produce and then consume. You will be paid a further 3 pence per unit for every unit of surplus electricity that is automatically fed back into the grid. As of late 2011, the cost of a unit of electricity is approximately 12 pence per unit so this really is a very attractive scheme.
